RETSCREEN® INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP 

Date:   Wednesday November 25th, 2009 
Time:      8:30 am to 4:30 pm 
Location:    Lambton College - Suncor Sustainability Centre - Training Room
Cost:    $195.00 (+GST) = $204.75 (Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided)

The RETScreen Clean Energy Project Analysis Software is the world's leading clean energy decision-making software. It is provided completely free-of-charge by the Government of Canada as part of Canada's recognition of the need to take an integrated approach in addressing climate change and reducing pollution. RETScreen is currently in use by more than 215,000 people in 222 countries and territories.

The RETScreen workshop will be practical and use a hands on approach. The attendees will explore the ease of use in RETScreen and be exposed to many built in case study and scenarios. Following are topics and areas the workshop will cover in regards to RETScreen;

  • Commercial and Residential energy efficiency upgrade analysis
  • Analysis of financial payback for PV and Wind projects (small commercial scale)
  • Feasibility of Solar Thermal applications in small commercial and residential buildings

Your workshop leader will be Ivor F. da Cunha P.Eng. of LeapFrog Energy Technologies Inc. Ivor is a consultant with over 25 years of experience with energy efficiency and emerging energy technology. Ph. (905) 593-1644        

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop to the workshop.
Seating is limited to 30 and will be done on a first come first served basis.
Cancellations or no- shows will not be entitled to a refund; however, confirmed registrants can send a substitute if unable to attend.
